Elworth Pre-School Group is a charity run pre-school educating children between the ages of 2 years and 5 years old.
We provide care, and support learning in a friendly and informal setting, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum closely. The emphasis in the EYFS curriculum is largely placed on learning through play and it is therefore the job of the staff at Elworth Pre-School to make your child’s play educational by supporting and enhancing child-lead play. The staff provide loosely structured activities and low instances of adult led activities to allow your child to benefit from learning through his/her chosen interests.
Elworth Pre-School operates a key worker system whereby one member of staff will be allocated to document each child’s development during his/her time in the setting.
Parental involvement is welcomed and encouraged at Elworth Pre-School including but not limited to, key worker profiles of each child, borrow bags, optional parents rota to help out during a session and an annual pre-school trip for parents, children and staff.
Elworth Pre-School is open during term time for morning sessions running from 9:30am – 12:30pm, afternoon sessions running from 12:30pm – 3:30pm, and full days running from 9:30am – 3:30pm.
A three hour session is currently priced at £13.50 and we are registered to accept the 15 hours free childcare vouchers provided by Cheshire East which can be accessed on the term after your child turns three and also the two year funding which is assessed on an individual basis by Cheshire East.
Children staying for a full day are required to bring a packed lunch with cool pack in and children who are attending a half day session are also welcome, but are not required, to bring their lunch as well.
